I’ve been at WTCG as a licensed social worker since 2022, and I love my work. My focus is to use compassion and curiosity when working with clients with trauma, depression, and anxiety. I’m passionate about providing a hopeful space to nurture self-compassion, freedom, and peace. I like to work in partnership with my clients, as they are the experts on themselves, while I bring a lot of training in evidence-based therapies, including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
I grew up in San Angelo, attended the University of Texas and after raising a family and working in the pharmaceutical industry for over twenty years, went back to school and obtained a master’s degree in social work. I live in Austin, where I see my clients via Telehealth. In my free time, I enjoy rolling around with my grandson in Mertzon, playing tennis and teaching my puppy new tricks.
