Milan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. Milan received a Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2018 and a Master’s in Social Work in 2020, both from Angelo State University.
Milan has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various social work settings: Affordable Housing, Domestic Violence Support, Title IX, Hospice, Mental Health, and Psychiatric Hospital Social Work. Working in said areas has offered Milan the opportunity to help individuals, families, and groups. Many of the individuals Milan has assisted have been impacted by one or more factors including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and psychosis.
Milan has an interest in working with individual adults, couples, and adolescents. She utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy to guide clients in understanding their thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors and how they correlate to their moods and environment.
Milan strives to facilitate a safe, open, and non-judgmental atmosphere where all clients feel welcome, in an effort to build and strengthen a therapeutic alliance.
