Nicole earned her Master’s degree in Social Work at Angelo State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.
She works adolescents and adults (including Veterans) who are experiencing suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, difficult life challenges, and other mental health concerns. Due to her experience as both the daughter and spouse of veterans, Nicole has a special interest in working with veterans and their family members.
In order to empower and best meet the needs of her clients, Nicole employs a holistic, person-centered approach that focuses on the client’s strengths while fostering collaboration to address the challenges that may hinder one’s personal growth and fulfillment.
Nicole is trained in several evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS). She is also a certified trained presenter regarding topics that include suicide prevention and awareness and reducing access to lethal means through the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention and the Texas Suicide Prevention Collaborative.
Nicole is located on the 10th floor of the Cactus Hotel.
