Rebekah is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor through the state of New Mexico. She received her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2022 from the University of the Southwest. Rebekah is currently working to earn her independent licensure in clinical counseling under the supervision of D’Nae Gardner, LCSW-S.

 

Prior to working at West Texas Counseling and Guidance, Rebekah worked as a teacher in elementary and middle schools in New Mexico. While finishing graduate school, she interned with Permian Basin Counseling and Guidance, with a focus on outpatient counseling services to children and families. She has specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for a variety of mental health concerns. She also has experience providing therapy services for crisis intervention and safety planning. Rebekah works with clients of all ages experiencing a variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, in addition to those experiencing suicidal ideations.

 

Rebekah sees clients in-person in Hobbs, and Jal, and through telehealth.
