Terry is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in clinical counseling, both from Angelo State University.  She has also completed thirty hours of Christian counseling from the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Terry’s clinical experience includes working at River Crest Hospital from 1995 to 2000. She did a year of private practice following her leave from RCH. Angelo State University offered her a counselor position in 2001 counseling college students. She retired from ASU May 31, 2017.

Terry has expertise in the areas of depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, relationships and women’s issues, and developing self-esteem.

Terry enjoys working with people to process healing after a loss, developing healthy, intimate relationships, communication skills, and helping people find their path to personal healing and effective change.

When Terry is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys music, travel, baking and movies. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her four amazing grands.

Terry acceptsthe following forms of payment: full-fee, ACI EAP, Champ VA, First Care, Insurance Services of Lubbock, Humana, Medicaid, TriWest Veterans Choice and Aetna. 

Terry works with teens, adults and seniors. Terry has been with WTCG since 2017 and is officed on the 6th floor of the Cactus Hotel.
